Denning Driving School offers a convenient DMV Road Test Vehicle Rental Package for individuals who need a vehicle for their road test. This package ensures you have a reliable and familiar vehicle for your exam.

Section 1: The DMV Visit Package - $245.00

This comprehensive package includes two essential components:

• 1-Hour Evaluation ($85):
  • This mandatory evaluation, conducted at least one day before your road test, ensures you're prepared and safe for the exam.
  • Our instructor will review the Miller Road Test components and assess your driving skills.
  • A valid North Carolina learner's permit is required.
• 2-Hour Road Test Vehicle Usage ($160):
  • Following a successful evaluation, our instructor will pick you up and transport you to the DMV, arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled test.
  • You'll use our vehicle for the road test.
  • After the test, we'll provide transportation back home.

Section 2: Important Details and Policies

• Time Limit:
  • The 2-hour time limit begins upon arrival at the DMV.
  • If the test exceeds 2 hours due to active testing with a DMV representative, additional time will be provided.
  • If the driver refuses to leave with the instructor after the 2 hour period, they are responsible for their own transportation.
• Scheduling:
  • Walk-in road tests are not permitted with this package.
  • Proof of your scheduled DMV appointment must be presented to the instructor.
• Evaluation Requirements:
  • If you fail the 1-hour evaluation, your road test must be rescheduled.
  • Evaluations will not be conducted on the same day as the road test.
  • You can purchase an additional evaluation or receive a refund for the 2-hour road test portion of the package.
• DMV Requirements:
  • You are responsible for fulfilling all DMV licensing requirements before your road test.
  • This includes obtaining and providing proof of appropriate vehicle insurance (DL-123 form).
