Using a Denning Driving Vehicle for your DMV Road Test.
We are happy to offer an option for people to take the DMV Road Test if they do not have access to a vehicle of their own.
The DMV Visit Package $245.00
This package includes two parts. A 1-hour evaluation ($85) and a 2-hour usage of the DDS Vehicle for your scheduled Road Test ($160).
Prior to the use of our vehicle for the scheduled road test, each student must complete and pass a 1-hour evaluation to be completed at least one day prior to the scheduled road test date. During this evaluation the instructor will go over the material covered in the Miller Road Test to ensure the driver is ready and safe on the road.
Driver must have a valid NC Permit.
On the day of your scheduled DMV road test (after passing the 1-hour evaluation) the DDS instructor will pick you up and drive you to your DMV for your scheduled road test arriving 15 minutes prior to the exam time. You will then use the DDS vehicle to complete your scheduled exam. After the exam is complete the DDS instructor will drive you home.
There is a maximum allotted time of 2 hours to complete the exam. After 2 hours starting at the time of arrival at the DMV, the DDS instructor is instructed to return with the vehicle. If the driver refuses to leave with the DDS instructor, the driver must make travel arrangements home at their own expense. There will be no additional time provided unless the driver is actively on the road with a DMV representative who is conducting the road test.
No walk-in Road Tests are allowed with this package. All exams must be scheduled prior to arrival and proof of scheduling must be presented to the instructor.
If the driver fails to pass the 1-hour evaluation, the DMV road test must be rescheduled. The student must pass and evaluation prior to the Road Test. Evaluations will not be conducted on the same day as the Road Test. The driver may choose to purchase an additional evaluation time or be refunded the 2-hour road test portion of the package.
